Our Etta denim shirtdress is a story of contrasts. Cut from premium Japanese cotton for an oversized fit and sitting just above the knee, it subtly plays on colour and texture with panels of indigo and pale blue, while the utility feel is balanced with feminine floral embroidery. Natural cream corozo buttons lend a special touch to this versatile piece, which can be worn across seasons and in multiple ways.

Model 1 is size 12/14 and wearing a size M.
Model 2 is size 8 and wearing a size XS.
Product Measurements
Wash less, love always
We recommend hanging your shirt to air outdoors, rather than washing after every wear. This way, it will last longer and also have a lower environmental impact. Spot clean marks with warm soapy water, and when it does need a wash, follow our care advice:
Machine wash 30 degrees
Wash with similar colours
Medium iron
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
A note on our Japanese cotton and corozo buttons
Our Etta shirt is made from Japanese indigo cotton, which is known for its unique quality; no two fabrics are the same, because of the way it has been woven. Our cotton is also certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it’s completely free from chemicals harmful to your skin. We’ve used corozo – known as vegetable ivory – for our buttons, as it comes from a nut found in South America which can only be harvested once it naturally falls to the ground, making it a more sustainable choice.

UK Standard Small Items - £2.95 (3 - 4 working days) - Shipped with Royal Mail *Defined as fitting in a 20x20cm packaging.
UK Next Day - £8.00 (1-2 working days) - Shipped with FedEx, tracked.
Local Delivery - Free (3 working days) - We can now offer free local delivery to UK London postcodes E17, E10. This option is available at checkout.
Please note that we do not cover taxes and duty for outside of the UK. Prices will be adjusted at checkout to represent VAT/ no VAT. See below for further information.
Europe International Express – £17 (2 – 3 working days) - Shipped with FedEx, tracked.
For the moment, we will be shipping to Europe via FedEx only, due to the new customs arrangements between the UK and the EU. These shipments will be trackable.
All goods are delivered Delivered At Place (DAP). Please check your countries import tax threshold - import VAT and duties will be charged by the courier when they arrive in the destination country.
Please note that we do not cover import VAT amount or duties at this time.

Rest of World - £25 (2 - 7 working days) - Shipped with FedEx - Please note that we do not cover taxes and duty for the rest of world shipments.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are currently shipped Tuesdays and Fridays with Royal Mail, as we’re a small business – thank you for your patience and understanding!
With FedEx, orders will be shipped the following day from when you place your order, with the exception of Wednesday. (Please note we are not able to ship on Wednesdays.)
However, if you do need your order by a certain date, drop us an email on info@saywoodstudio.co.uk and we’ll do everything we can to speed things along.

Returns & exchanges
How do I return or exchange items?
We hope that you fall in love with your Saywood piece, but if things don’t work out, let us know on info@saywoodstudio.co.uk.
Items must be in new, unused and unworn condition, with all original packaging and garment tags still attached. We do not accept items with any indication of use. In such cases, items will be returned to you and you will not be refunded.
Please note that sale items are exchange only.
How long do I have to return or exchange it?
You have 14 working days.
Do you cover postage costs?
We are now able to offer free returns for UK based shipments. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer free returns for Europe and the Rest of World, unless items you received were damaged. We recommend you obtain proof of postage, since you’ll be responsible for items until they reach us and we can’t refund you if they don’t arrive. This also applies if the parcel arrives damaged, so make sure you package them properly.
If you are returning an item from outside the UK, please ensure your shipment is marked 'customer return'.
